Notes and Requirements

Only one rider per horse

Note that we have a maximum weight limit of 100kg’s (can be slightly more depending on the outride, please enquire)

All rates include a knowledgeable and experienced guide, no rides are permitted to go without a guide

Minimum age 12 years (can be less depending on the outride, please enquire)

Parent or legal guardian must sign indemnity for anyone under 18 years of age

Riding hats are supplied and are compulsory but if you have your own, please bring it along

The guides will set the pace according to the ability of the slowest or inexperienced rider in the group

Should all riders in the group be experienced the guides will allow trotting and cantering

Riders are not allowed to overtake the guide at any stage during the outride

Moms to be: We apologize, outrides are not for you while you are pregnant

Basic Rider Guideline:

We will require your riding experience to pair you with a suitable horse, a basic guideline:

Complete novice rider – never been on a horse before

Novice rider – less than 20 times

Intermediate rider – less than 100 times

Experienced rider – competent rider, comfortable at all paces,owned and ridden own horse, have been riding often lately
