Here, you’ll get to spend a day hiking in one of the most spectacular mountain ranges in South Africa where you’ll discover centuries old San rock paintings and amazing rock formations.

Day 1: Cape Town – Cederberg
We head off early from Cape Town passing through small farming communities such as Malmesbury, Piketberg and Citrusdal, towards the Oliphants River Valley. Once we reach Citrusdal we grab a light lunch (own account) and veer onto a dirt road that takes us to the Cederberg and towards the historical Koi-San paintings and view the majestic rock formations at the Stadsaal Caves. Once we reach our overnight accommodation you have the opportunity explore the surrounds around camp and relax while the guide prepares your traditional South African braai (barbeque) on an open fire under an exquisite night sky

Day 2: Cederberg – Lamberts Bay
Early morning start heading off to the Wolfberg Cracks – a steep mountain walk with some scrambling at the top. This is an incredible experience slipping though the Cederberg’s priceless gems and once we reach the top we stop and enjoy the view. We head down the mountain back to camp after a light lunch, leaving the Cederberg behind and make our way to the small fishing village, Lamberts Bay. We enjoy dinner at Muisbosskerm for a seafood experience of a lifetime, voted one of the “Top Ten Sea Views to Dine For” by National Geographic.

Day 3: Cederberg – Cape Town
After breakfast, we have the opportunity to spend the morning in Lamberts Bay, starting with a visit to Bird Island, a nature reserve providing shelter and protection for thousands of sea-birds, particularly Cape gannets, various species of cormorants, and penguins. We then head off to the West Coast National Park, taking in the beautiful lagoon, hopefully spot some of the local wildlife. After lunch in the Park, we make our way back to Cape Town
